This is a reminder to all exporters, traders, manufacturers and forwarders in Singapore that the Advance Export Declaration Adjustment Period which started on April 1, 2013 ends at midnight on September 30, 2014. From October 1, 2014 Singapore Customs will be enforcing the new rules which state that an export declaration must be completed before goods can be exported.
TNETS has been conducting AED Readiness seminars during the past nine months explaining the requirements, what exceptions are available, what the possible sanctions might be, and most importantly, what actions businesses can take now to get ready for the new rules.
With only one month remaining, it’s vital that businesses take steps now to ensure that the information required to make an accurate declaration is available to their declarants.
TNETS is happy to report that clients using its integrated declaration service for their exports are getting their declarations completed on time and fully compliant with AED.
If you want to know more about how TNETS can help you comply with AED or other customs rules then please contact us now.
