South East Asia’s leader in customs and trade management establishes presence in region’s largest economy and world’s fourth most populated country.
TNETS, the Singapore based customs services and technology business founded in 2004 to serve the needs of manufacturers, importers, exporters, traders and forwarders, has established a presence in Indonesia with the soft opening this week of its Jakarta office.

Headquartered in the bustling South Jakarta area of the metropolis, PT TNETS Solutions Indonesia will initially be fulfilling the customs and trade compliance requirements of its predominantly MNC and global freight forwarder existing client base, although discussions are already ongoing with a range of new clients.
TNETS arrival in the rapidly expanding Indonesia market is a welcome one for many major manufacturers and distributors, for whom the opportunity to work with a dedicated customs specialist comes just in time as they wrestle with the demanding requirements of maintaining their AEO status.
At the heart of TNETS business are its highly trained customs processing specialists, and they in turn rely heavily on TNETS core customs processing application, TNETS4.1, which is fully WCO-compliant and was built with high volume, high efficiency and the highest levels of compliance in mind.
Indonesia is seeing tremendous growth in intra-ASEAN shipping activity, at least partly as a result of the growth in usage of the ASEAN Trade In Goods Agreement (ATIGA) and, here again TNETS will play a role given the company’s vast experience in the processing of the critical Form D, which must accompany shipments moving under the agreement.
With the slowdown in the EU, trade disputes continuing between the United States and China, and between Japan and Korea, South East Asia looks like it could be a significant contributor to global economic growth and TNETS is seeking to make further investments in the region during the coming months.
